Palm Street: Reviews & Ratings
My friend and I went to Palm Street around 5pm on a Wednesday. The interior has a cute and classy ambiance with fake palm trees throughout with mood lighting. You may need a reservation if you're dining at a later time, but it was not necessary for 5pm. It happened to be the first night they were debuting a new special menu (I procrastinated on writing a review). So, my friend and I both got the braised beef noodle soup ($19). Pricing is pretty good for the area! The noodles were the perfect texture and consistency, and the beef was cooked well. However, I wanted more flavor in the broth. It had a natural beef flavor, but for the first time in my life, I elected to add chili oil to the soup because I needed more flavor! I think I went in expecting more of a laksa-type broth, so the mild flavor was a miss. Service was phenomenal. There were so many check-backs, water refilling, etc. At one point, my friend sipped water and it went down the wrong pipe. I swear every front-of-house staff came in to check-in on us. I would return to try another dish because the staff was so welcoming!
Stopped in for lunch and was expecting a small hole in the wall good find for this area but I was blown away and this far exceeded my expectations. Inside picture tropical and palm trees with nice mood lighting. Food and service were a 10 out of 10.
My partner and I spent our date night here. Usually when we go to a restaurant 1 or 2 things are good - but everything we got was delicious! Very flavorful, fresh and good portion size. I love appetizers so we got chicken satay, palms platter and Tom yum (they were very generous with the shrimp - this was my favorite). We shared the braised short ribs with a side of jasmine rice - it was very tender and juicy. The overall service was attentive and they felt like good people.
I came here during Saturday happy hour and it was great. The decorations and atmosphere are super cute and the music isn’t too loud so it’s actually conducive to conversation. I got the tum yum soup as well as the chicken satay and spring rolls. Everything was great, I personally recommend the chicken satay as the chicken was juicy and had great taste. The service was equally as good and honestly worth the price. For NYC this restaurant is an amazing price for the quality of food and service.
Loved the food and the atmosphere! Recommend the Palm Platter Appetizer, Thai Spicy Octopus, Chicken Satay (the dipping sauce was sooo good) and Lo Mein (Chicken)! Didn't get any dessert this time as unfortunately the Osmanthus Yam is not on the menu anymore and the other desserts were just cheesecake and ice cream. Looking forward to coming back again.
Had an absolute blast at this gem! The ambiance is top-notch, servers were super attentive, and the food? Mind-blowing! Best meal I've had in a while. Highly recommend!
Beautiful space with excellent food! I was so excited to see this place coming together, and I finally got the chance to try it out. The restaurant has a lovely interior — warm and very inviting. The service was friendly and attentive, which made the experience even better. I highly recommend their Palm appetizer sampler — it comes with a variety of dumplings, and pork soup dumplings are honestly some of the best I’ve ever had. The avocado ball appetizer was also delicious and perfectly seasoned. Next time I come back, I’ll definitely be trying more of their dumplings!
This place was so fire! Went for happy hour but had a great time. Jhet was fire hostess. Music is fire. Slow jams r&b. First time coming, will definitely be back for the full menu!!!
